Sam graduated from her Master of Physical Therapy degree at the University of British Columbia. She also completed her Level 1 Orthopaedic Division Certification during this time. She has gained experience working with general medical, post-surgical, and cardiac inpatients in the hospital setting; patients with neurological conditions and injuries; and community-based physiotherapy in the Downtown East Side.
Her areas of interest are in sport, neurological conditions, and she hopes to become certified in women’s health.
Sam is currently a trainer for the Vancouver Rowing Club, including Division 1, 2 and a women’s division in rugby. She used to compete at the international level in martial arts but now enjoys hiking, running, and cycling in her spare time.
