Helia is a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, specializing in active health and rehabilitation. With a strong foundation in advanced exercise prescription and clinical exercise physiology, Helia is well-equipped to assist in rehabilitating a wide variety of injuries. She is a practicing member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK), showcasing her commitment to delivering high-quality care and staying current in the field of Kinesiology.
Helia has always been deeply passionate about sports and fitness. Involved in rugby, basketball, and ice skating, Helia is an expert in providing high quality exercise prescription and coaching. Her experience extends to her role as a Student Trainer for the Junior Girls Salmon Bellies Lacrosse Team, where she provided on-site injury care, prevention strategies, and rehabilitation support for athletes. She has also spent time volunteering at a Senior Activity Centre, guiding joint replacement and stroke patients through rehabilitation exercises aimed at improving strength, balance, and mobility.
Fluent in both English and Farsi, Helia can serve a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds.
