Jen completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. She believes in using a well-rounded approach to physical therapy in order to help her patients achieve their personal goals. This involves using manual therapy, while also providing exercises and education to empower her patients. Using a client-centred approach will help you to reduce pain, and improve function and your overall quality of life. Whether you are looking to rehabilitate your injury, improve your athletic performance or return to work Jen will take the time to listen to you to develop a treatment plan that is best suited for you.
Jen grew up playing at elite levels in basketball along with track and field. Tearing her ACL and meniscus stopped her from pursuing sports competitively but open up the world of physiotherapy for her. This has led her to work with a number of sports teams during her time as a student athletic trainer. She also has an extensive paediatric background and specializes in working with kids from ages 0-5. She also offers pelvic floor physiotherapy. Pelvic floor physiotherapy helps with pelvic pain and urinary incontinence, which can be applied pre or postpartum. Jen looks forward to using her extensive background to help you at any age and ability level.
Outside of physiotherapy, Jen is passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle. She is involved in many activities that Vancouver offers such as hiking, cycling and golfing. Jen is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
